Sullivan Land Services provides construction services related to the construction of new levees, improving existing levees and repairing damage to levee systems for the maritime industry and for coastal protection. SLS also specializes in Dredge Spoil Containment Area solutions and enhancements so that the Owner may maximize the useful life of their containment site. With vast experience working with challenging soil conditions, SLS has the ability to transform the liability of a dredge spoil containment area and levee system in to an Asset for maritime facilities.

Recent Projects

• Galveston Levee Construction Project
  SLS was contracted to raise the levee height of an existing dredge spoil containment area in order for the Owner to maximize the useful life of their containment area. This project allowed the Owner/operator of the facility to save a substantial amount of money by not requiring that they pay to dispose of their spoils in an off-site disposal area. While the soil conditions were very challenging and difficult to manipulate, SLS used its experience to transform the levee system in to a useful asset for the terminal. Following the improvements, the Owner was able to achieve 40’ of draft in their ship slip.
